Janusz Kijowski
Director of the Stefan Jaracz Theater in Olsztyn.
The guest spoke about the creation of the 1976 school etude ZK Sieradz.

Janusz Kijowski – film director, screenwriter and producer, theater and opera director, publicist. Janusz Kijowski graduated from the history department of Warsaw University in 1972. During his university studies, he collaborated with the weekly magazine “Kultura” as a film critic. In 1978 he graduatedfrom the Directing Department of the National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz. In 1998 he became a lecturer at the PWSFTviT in Lodz. In 2002 he was elected vice-president of the European Federation of Film Directors (FERA). Since 2005 he has been a member of the Council of the Polish Film Institute. He is the author of the film etude Z.K. Sieradz (director’s diploma film) awarded the “Golden Ciap” and journalistst award in Rzeszow in 1977, and the Grand Prix at the PWSFTviT Etude Festival (Warsaw) in 1978.

The winner of the “Good Villain “statuette and the prize in kind was handed over to Danuta Sibierska, director of the Special School and Educational Center in Zhardeniki, where part of the shooting was dane with the participation of one of the alumni. Irena Telesz, Special Guest of the first edition of the Olsztyn festival and member of the jury, presented the young actor playing the main role with a private award.
