Special guest of the Festivol was
Ewa Błaszczyk. The octress ployed the lead role of o womon sentenced to life imprisonment
in Wiesław Saniewski’s “Supervision.”

Ewa Błaszczyk – theater and film actress, singer. Wiesław Saniewski’s film “Supervision” brought her the main acting award at the Gdansk Film Festival (Fipresci Award at the Manheim Film Festival). She sings a lot and enjoys singing, mostly literary and mood songs by Agnieszka Osiecka, Kleyff, Kofta, Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Father Twardowski, her husband Jacek Janczarski, songs from the repertoire of Ivanova, Piaf, Dietrich, Vysotsky. She sang at reviews of sung poetry, festivals in Opole, Sopot. Being a student at the Elementary School No. 171 in Warsaw, she trained swimming for several years, winning, among other things, the vice-championship of Poland’s juniors in the 200m backstroke competition. She practiced synchronized swimming. She is the founder,founder (with Father Wojciech Drozdowicz) and president of the Akogo? foundation, which aims to help people after severe brain injuries, often in coma.
