Konrad Lenkiewicz is a film expert and film critic, a graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
He was a long-time journalist of the biweekly cultural magazine “Warmia and Mazury”, a columnist for ”Dziennik Pojezierza” , “Gazeta Olsztyńska “, “Gazeta Wyborcza”. , publicist of periodicals “Film” , “Ekran” , “Film in the World”. He co-founded and established Olsztyn Film Discussion Clubs – DKF “Za”, DKF “not ” DKF ”Feniks” or DKF “Magnes”, the activities of which were famous in the country. For many years he sat on the Board and Presidium of the Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs.

In 1995-2000 he was a member of the National Council of Film Experts at the Committee of Cinematography.

In 2007 he was the organizational director of the “Vacation Frames Cieszyn. Film Festival”. In 1990 he established and ran for many years with Danuta Fedorczuk the Avant-garde 2 Film Culture Center. For his activities related to the animation of local cultural life, he was awarded the Golden Badge of “Meritorious Cultural Activist in Warmia and Mazury”, as well as awards from the President of the City of Olsztyn and the Mars hal of the province for the dissemination of film culture.

The Avant-garde Cinema, which he runs, received a nomination in 2009 as the best studio cinema in Poland in a poll of the National Film Institute. In 2010, he received the Golden Ticket awarded by the Polish Cinema Association for his long-standing promotion of Polish cinema, especially artistic and independent cinema. In 2011, he established the Avant-garde 2 Studio Cinema in a new location, which offers ambitious and artistic repertoire.
In November 2018, Konrad Lenkiewicz was elected to the new Council of the Network of Studio Cinemas as a representative of northern Poland.

In September 2020, Konrad Lenkiewicz again received the award of the President of the City of Olsztyn, and in October of the same year he received the award of the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for the second time. In 2021 he won the Gazeta Wyborcza – Olsztyn poll and was elected “Olsztynian of the Year 2020. “
